burning letters leave a faded hint of past transgressions
so removed yet so sublime
with the ember she remembers all those distant lessons
and how her stars would not align

in her youth, she found her truth in constellations
cause back then, that was when she felt alone
but by now it seems that she's trapped in someone else's dream

deeper sleeping was a hope to not be met but bested

in his youth, he found his truth in Good Vibrations
